Online Business English Trainer (UK-Based)

With over 31 years of experience as a leading B2B corporate English training provider in Taiwan, our client is now launching a new direct-to-consumer online coaching service. This uses a dynamic “Adaptive Learning” methodology and AI tools to deliver premium, 1-on-1 sessions for ambitious professionals. We are currently recruiting a small team of UK-based part-time trainers to help cover peak demand hours.

The Role

As an Online Business English Trainer, you will:

• Deliver engaging 1-on-1 online coaching sessions to adult professionals in Taiwan.
• Conduct 45-minute and 75-minute lessons via Google Meet.
• Utilize our adaptive learning platform, reviewing AI-generated lesson plans before each session using tools like Google’s Gemini and Notebook LM.
• Provide coaching based on clients’ real-world work materials and specific professional goals.

Working Hours

We are seeking trainers available during peak times, which are ideal for UK-based schedules:

• Weekday Evenings: 20:00 – 24:00 Taiwan Time (13:00 – 17:00 UK Time)
• Weekends: Flexible hours on Saturdays and Sundays

Requirements

• Currently based in the UK.
• Native or near-native English fluency.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
• A TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification is preferred.
• A minimum of three years’ experience training adult professionals.
• Highly comfortable with technology and familiar with Google AI tools.
• Knowledge of Taiwan or experience working with Taiwanese learners is a significant advantage.
• Candidates should ideally be able to commit to a mimimum of 15 hours per week if possible, with additional hours available for those who have more flexibility.
