YES USA invites dynamic and outgoing professionals to join our immersive ESL summer camp program in New York and Miami, designed for international high school students. We are actively seeking dedicated teachers and enthusiastic excursion leaders to be part of the enriching experience during the upcoming 2024 summer camp season.

Position Overview: As a teacher/excursion leader, you will deliver effective ESL lessons (15 hours/week) and guide students through thrilling excursions in NYC or Miami three days a week (29-30 hours/week).

Locations:

  • New York: St. John’s University (Queens).
  • Miami: University of Miami (Coral Gables).

Available Contracts:

  • 6 weeks from July 2nd (New York)
  • 4 weeks from July 16th (New York)
  • 2 weeks from July 22nd (New York)
  • 4 weeks from July 3rd (Miami)
  • 2 weeks from July 17th (Miami)

Successful candidates must arrive for a three-day on-site training, beginning four days prior to the contract start date. For instance, if your contract starts on July 2nd, your arrival is expected on June 28th.

Housing and Meals: Choose between residential and non-residential options. You can either arrange your own housing in New York City or Miami, or take advantage of our rental options in shared dorms. Meal plans are also available.

Requirements: Our ideal candidate possesses a Master’s degree in a field related to ESL, such as TESOL or Applied Linguistics, or holds a CELTA certificate or its equivalent. Prior experience working with teenagers and teaching English as a Second Language is preferred.
