Primary and Lower Secondary Teachers needed in Yangon, Myanmar

ALBA is seeking enthusiastic, Primary and Lower Secondary Teachers to teach in Yangon, Myanmar for the 2023-2024 school year (May 15, 2023 start date)

Job Details:

1. Positions available in Primary include:

• Year 1 English and Social Studies
• Year 2 Math and Science
• Year 3 English and Social Studies
• Year 3 Math and Science
• Year 5 English and Social Studies
• Year 5 Math and Science

2. Positions available in Secondary include: Subject teachers for Year 7 English and Science / Year 8 English and Math / Year 9 Science

3. Work hours of 8:45am to 4:00pm, Monday-Friday

4. Contract date May 15^th, 2023 – March 15^th, 2024

5. Maximum of 20 to 25 contact hours per week

Requirements:

1.) Fluent in English

2.) A bachelor’s degree in any field (Any further education certificate(s) will be considered)

3.) Two years teaching experience required. (Those with less experience can still apply)

Job Offer:

1.) Salary of $1,800-$2,000 USD/month

2.) Housing provided near the school campus/central Yangon

3.) Paid sick leave/ paid national holidays

4.) Airport pick-up and assistance with getting to know the area

5.) Business visas and work documents for all other necessary government forms provided
