(My entail ESL company-based TEFL training was very brief: a four-day practical session, with the main aim of getting us as soon as possible in the classroom).The TEFL Institutes Level 5 -120 hours course met all my requirements.-It is an affordable, quality course, with practical guidance and a good overview of the basics of the English language. I valued sections on grammar and vocabulary. It was much more in-depth than my initial TEFL trainingThe course website is well-designed and easy to navigate. Each of the models was clear, well-structured, easy to follow, and not overcomplicated. You will receive a multiple-choice quiz after each the completion of each model. (Ten models, with 10 quizzes). Your TEFL certificate and reference letter are available to download with the successful completion of your last course model.I will defiantly recommend the TEFL Institute and this course to any aspiring TEFL teachers, or teachers who want to improve their credentials.

I completed the Highfield Level 5 certificate in teaching English as a foreign language here and I must say it was a very good and compact course. I learnt so much and the team were always willing to help and check how my learning was going.Alongside that, I happened to make an error by ordering the wrong certificate and those who were a part of the customer service team, in particular Rachel. I have recently completed the on-line 180 hour level 5 Diploma course offered by the TEFL Institute, and I am very satisfied.The course materials are well (multimedia) presented and up-to-date. My assessments were examined promptly, and the examiners gave me appropriate and constructive feed-back. The administrative and teaching staff have all been patient, generous with their time and encouragement, as well as being thoroughly professional.Without Annelies’ friendly and painstaking responses to my many initial queries, I would not have found the confidence to start. Without the weekly Zoom tutorials with experienced and helpful teaching staff, I may not have overcome my early struggles. (I am 64.) I enrolled for the 310-hour Hybrid TEFL course last evening (17th Aug 2021). After searching, shortlisting, and further researching the selected institutes (5 in total out of many in the market) I zeroed in on 3 institutes. The main factor for deciding which one to go with was, of course, the value of the course in the job market in relation to the cost of the course. All 3 institutes were pretty much in the same league from a beginner's viewpoint. However, the deciding factor for me in choosing the TEFL Institute London over the other 2 was Ms. SARAH FOLEY, who assisted me through the entire process. Her professionalism and subject knowledge are praiseworthy. But what impressed and touched me the most was her caring, patient, and understanding nature and attitude towards a newbie like yours truly. I was bombarding her with questions, and she was so very kind and patient in answering them with utmost professionalism. She even called me (none of the other institutes displayed this level of interest or care in a prospective student), and walked me through the course, and answered whatever questions I had left regarding it. I want to thank Ms. Foley for being the professional and extremely kind human being (a rare combination these days) she is. And, I thank The TEFL Institute London for hiring staff like her to assist prospective students/clients like me. With such care from the outset, I am absolutely certain that the rest of my journey with The TEFL Institute will be equally rewarding with the other staff members/teachers. I truly recommend this course (120 hours Advanced TEFL Certificate) for anyone who is looking to either teach English abroad, online, or in any other setting. The course itself is very thorough covering all possible aspects and situations that you might encounter. There are videos and activities along the way designated to help you understand the chapters better and prepare you to ace the tests at the end of each chapter. In addition to the course material, they also have an app in which you can work on the course which makes it accessible to do it from anywhere! Overall, great course and strongly recommended!
