LLS: Language Learning Solutions MX133, is looking for teachers to join our team.

LLS is a well-established Cambridge Authorised Centre and language school with over 20 years of experience offering classes to children, teenagers, adults and local companies in a friendly and comfortable environment.

The school, as well as providing fun day to day classes, helps and prepares hundreds of students every year to succeed in Cambridge qualifications from Young Learners English up to Cambridge C1 Advanced and Cambridge teaching training certifications. Being the only Cambridge certified centre in the state of Yucatan enables us to support our teachers career progression and development within the Cambridge community.

We offer a minimum 10-month academic year contract, a competitive local salary which includes housing and amenities in exchange for 20 teaching hours per week.  In addition, 2 paid and supported planning hours are provided as well as paid Christmas and Easter holidays.

Our teacher’s wellbeing is very important to us, so mornings are left free for you to explore the city, plan classes, or just relax by the pool which comes with your comfortably furnished air-conditioned home. However, if you are looking for extra work, business classes are often available in the mornings.

If you are unsure about how to begin working in Mexico, don’t worry, not only do we provide support in obtaining your work visa, but the cost of your visa is returned upon the completion of your contract. In addition, our financial area is always ready to assist you with your tax enquiries and anything else you may need.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for friendly, creative, and enthusiastic native English speakers from the UK who are keen to teach in a new country and take full advantage of what LLS, and the beautiful city of Merida has to offer.

All relevant teaching experience and certifications will be considered. (For example, CELTA, TEFL or non-ESL teaching experience in British schools).
