The Red Bus English School is one of the most successful schools in Eastern Sicily thanks to its strong student-centred ethos. It operates over 3 centres and our students range in age from 7 to 60+, from complete beginners to C2 level. We are currently recruiting for the academic year 2022-2023 and are looking for teachers with a strong professional outlook to join us. Contracts run from October to mid-June with the possibility of renewal for a second year if wished.

Maximum of 25 hours a week mainly afternoon and evening classes. As an Authorised Cambridge exam centre we are also work closely with state schools offering support to local English teachers and running some afternoon courses for students in state schools. We also work with local businesses and are planning to expand our range of business and professional courses both online and in person.

The school has multimedia support in every classroom and there are also excellent resource libraries in the 3 centres. At Red Bus, supporting teachers is central to our core philosophy, we encourage sharing of ideas and materials, peer to peer learning and we also have a programme of workshops and training courses to allow staff to explore new ideas and methods.

Shared accommodation is provided 5 minute-walk from the school, or teachers can also make their own arrangements which we can offer some help with
