English Teacher-Jeju Island, South Korea

Jeff’s Academy on Jeju Island is looking to hire a full-time teacher who can start work on March 1, 2023.

Jeff’s Academy is located not far from Halla College in NoHyeong-Dong, Sinjeju. We opened in 2003 and have an experienced, qualified and motivated management and teaching staff. We run a 10-2 English kindergarten program as well as after-school courses for elementary school students. Our students are eager learners and great kids.

Details:
Teaching kindergarten and elementary school students.
2.2 Won per month based on experience (negotiable)
Maximum of 30 teaching hours per week, Monday – Friday.
We work a variety of schedules between 10.00am and 6.30pm.                                                         3 days summer vacation, 3 days winter vacation and 3 personal days.                                              All red days off.
Severance pay upon completion of one-year contract.
50% medical insurance.
Round-trip airfare provided from point of hire.
Housing provided or 400,000won housing allowance.

If you reside in Korea, please have an E2 or higher level visa. Must be a native English speaker with a 4-year degree. Successful applicants will have a genuine affinity for children, a good work ethic, and a commitment to education. Experience teaching English to children in Korea is beneficial but not essential. Having documents (including a notarized and apostilled copy of your degree and a notarized and apostilled criminal background check) already in hand is an advantage.
