FULL-TIME EFL TEACHERS 2022-2023

Job Description

We are looking for 3 energetic, dynamic teachers for the next academic year, 2022-2023. We teach students from 4 years old up to adults at all levels, including exam preparation classes, so teachers need to enjoy teaching a variety of ages and levels.

Open English is situated in Sant Feliu de Guixols, a friendly, coastal town on the Costa Brava between Barcelona and France.

Details of Position

The positions are full-time and involve a maximum of 26 teaching hours per week spread from Monday to Friday. Teaching is mostly in the afternoons / evenings, but there are some one-to-ones in the mornings. The group classes are mainly General English or exam preparation classes (the Cambridge exams – Preliminary, First, Advanced and Proficiency).

Teachers must like teaching children and teenagers as well as adults and be willing to also teach online. The majority of teenagers (and some adults) are working towards the Cambridge exams and so ability and desire to teach exam preparation classes is a requisite. We also prepare students for TOEFL and IELTS.

Teachers have a mixed timetable of different ages and levels, so you must enjoy the variety. There is a maximum of 10 students per class.

The academic year starts in October 2022 and ends in June 2023
