Applications for the Spring intake are expected to start in August, so let’s get a head start with your application process! Please fill out the Korvia Application on our website! We are excited to help with the upcoming intake!   EPIK (English Program in Korea) is a public school English teaching program in Korea sponsored by the Korean government that places teachers in various cities as well as provinces around South Korea. English Program in Korea is the most inclusive English program in Korea and has the most location choices out of all the public school teaching programs in Korea, spanning across all of South Korea. Applicants can choose a preference for their location and grade level.   Here are some of the expectations of being an EPIK teacher:
  • Starting dates start for the Spring or Fall
  • Classes are Mon-Fri, 8:30AM to 4:30PM
  • Positions for Elementary, Middle, and High School
  • First time teaching? No worries! Co-teacher will assist you whenever
  • Prepare teaching materials
  • Assist with extracurricular activities
  • Create testing materials and new curriculum
  To be eligible for the EPIK Program, you will need to meet the following requirements:
  • Be a Citizen of One of the 7 Native English Speaking Countries
  • Studied at Eng-Medium Schools for grades 7-12 (dual-medium not eligible)
  • Hold a BA/BS Degree in Any Field (National Diploma or Adv. Diploma (NQF lvl 7 or below does not qualify)
  • Be TEFL/TESOL/CELTA Certified
  • Have No Criminal Record
  • Be in Good Mental & Physical Health
