NATIVE ENGLISH TEACHER – Concepción, Chile

The Thomas Jefferson School, in Concepción, Chile is looking for a NATIVE English Teacher teacher beginning mid-February, 2023. Thomas Jefferson is private school with an enrollment of 1057 students ranging in age from 24 months to age 18. Jefferson students begin studying English at age three therefore by 9 th grade are quite fluent.

Job Requirements:

1. A BA o BS degree in English or an English Education major.
2. A teaching certificate issued by a U.S. State.
3. Two years of teaching experience
4. Intenational travel experience
5. Basic knowledge of Spanish
6. Must be willing to make a two-year commitment.
7. Have a strong love for the English language and a desire to share that love with bilingual students.
8.  Reference letter.
