DescriptionPosition Details

- 12-month contract based at one of our specific branches in Taiwan.

- Candidates can review details about the location and school before committing (a provisional schedule and school factsheet are typically provided with the contract)

- Transfer to a different branch/location possible upon contract completion

- Teaching schedule: 5 days per week (schedules outside of Taipei are typically Monday–Friday)

- Classes are usually in the afternoons and evenings, although some morning schedules are available

- Student age groups: Very Young Learners, Elementary, and Junior High students in an extracurricular classroom setting.

- Some of our schools also offer one-on-one tutoring lessons for adults.

- Course guides, materials, and resources provided

- Paid training during the initial week, with ongoing academic support

- No fixed hiring seasons – recruitment is ongoing throughout the year

Benefits– NT$600–700 per hour (based on qualifications and experience)
– Performance-related pay review every 6 months
– Automatic salary increase every 12 months
– Contract completion bonus: NT$15,000 for the 1st year, up to NT$40,000 from the 4th year onward
– Paid training (one-week in-person training at Head Office, including observations and demo lessons)

– Teaching Hours Allowance (THA) – to ensure a stable income during the initial months, teachers receive a stable income equivalent to for 10 hours per week for the first 4 months, regardless of actual teaching hours

Requirements– Due to visa requirements we can only accept applicants from the following countries ( USA, CA, UK, IRE, AUS, NZ, SA)
– Bachelor’s degree (or expected completion date) – an associate degree may be accepted
– Willing to obtain a clean criminal background check from home country (must show no convictions related to children or of a sexual nature)
– TEFL Level 5 teaching certificate -
