Teach English ONLINE to Koreans, mostly adults!

Carrot Global is one of the leading language instruction companies based in South Korea. We are searching for additional full and part time instructors to teach ENGLISH by video and phone to students based in South Korea.

Our students are primarily adults participating in the work force. We do have a smaller percentage of students who are still in school.

POSITION INFORMATION:

– Teaching time per student: 10, 15, 20, 30+ minute classes
– Teachers can do split shifts by teaching in the morning and/or evening
– Our demand for teachers is during the following hours: 5:00 am -11:00 am US Eastern time (Mon-Fri) and 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm US Eastern time (Sun-Thurs)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

– Native English speaker (American and Canadian teachers preferred)
– University/College Degree required
– Quiet area to work
– Reliable computer with at least 4 GB of RAM
– Hard wired High-Speed internet service (no wifi)
– Internet speed of at least 20Mbps
– Proficiency with computers
– USB computer headset with a microphone
– Webcam
– Consistent availability during our peak demand times
– 15 hours or more availability during our peak hours
– Instructors who can work 5 days per week for at least 20 hours or more are preferred
– Preference for instructors residing in the US or Canada (though not required)
– Teaching experience (preferred but not required)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Salary: $13.00 to $15.00 USD/hour DOE
