Support a Community of English Learners as an ENGinPRO Instructor!

ENGin is a nonprofit organization changing the world one conversation at a time. Our main program connections Ukrainians with volunteers worldwide for online English-language conversation practice, creating a safe, authentic space for them to break the language barrier, discover a new culture, and find emotional support. These meaningful connections not only empower individuals but also drive Ukraine’s social and economic development by fostering intercultural understanding and building stronger, more connected communities.

ENGinPRO is a new initiative by ENGin, designed to provide structured, high-quality English lessons to Ukrainian learners through paid group classes. This program is aimed at supporting ENGin and helping sustain our nonprofit mission while addressing some students’ requests for more focused and structured lessons.

With a “Build-Your-Own English Learning Path” approach, students will have the freedom to choose skills and classes that align with their individual interests and learning goals.

We’re looking for passionate ESL instructors to teach grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening, writing, pronunciation, or a combination of these skills, depending on their expertise. This flexible role makes it easy to have direct impact while balancing other commitments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct online group lessons with 4-8 students per class, each lasting 60 minutes.

Teach using your own pre-developed lessons or by creating new lessons based on approved topics.

Support each lesson with a simple slide deck

Deliver engaging and structured classes focused on grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening, pronunciation, and/or writing.

Provide class availability and topics in a timely manner to ensure smooth scheduling

Utilize online teaching tools, primarily Zoom

Coordinate with the Project Manager on any issues related to lesson planning, scheduling, or student participation.

REQUIREMENTS:

✔️ Degree in Education, Linguistics, English, or a related field.

✔️ At least 2 years of ESOL (EAL, ESL, EFL) teaching experience and one year of online experience.

✔️ CELTA/DELTA/TEFL (preferred but not required).

✔️ Non-native speakers (8.0 IELTS, TOEFL IBT, 110-114)

✔️ W-9 Contract position

✔️ Preferred weekly commitment: minimum 10 hours of classes per week (negotiable).

✔️ Preferred availability: Afternoons & evenings (Kyiv time) | Approx. 8 AM – 3 PM Eastern Time (upon agreement).
