Weekend ESL Teachers – Yangon, Myanmar (in-person classes)

ALBA is seeking enthusiastic, weekend ESL teachers for our Weekend ESL program on Saturdays and Sundays with immediate start dates available.

Job Details:

1. Our class times run on Saturdays and Sundays in three sessions: 9am11:30am, 12pm-2:30pm and 3pm-5:30pm. (The same students come for both days)
2. Students’ ages range from 5-16 years old depending on the class being taught. (There are multiple class ranges during each session)
3. Class sizes can range from 18-24 students. (Most around 20)
4. Teachers can choose which sessions they would like to teach and how many sessions they would like to teach. (This can depend on class availability)

Requirements:

1. A native English speaker. (No specific nationality required)
2. A bachelor’s degree in any background and a TELF Certificate.
3. Two years teaching experience required. (those with less experience can still apply)

Job Offer:

1. Pay is hourly at $22 per hour.
2. 15 teaching hours each weekend.
3. Airport pick-up.
4. Provided single housing (downtown Yangon, within walking distance of the school campus)
5. Curriculum fully provided
6. Support from Administration and staff
