Class Hours

Group Class Time Slots

• Slot 1: 6:20PM – 8:20PM Korea time
• Slot 2: 8:30PM – 10:30PM Korea time

Private Tutoring Classes

Dependent on student/instructor schedules, but generally during the evenings (Korea time).

Role Description
This position is not a simple conversational English position, which requires you to be more than just a native English speaker. This is a contract position for a Writing Coach and Academic Reading Instructor. Classes may be group classes or private one-on-one classes. The role involves providing coaching and instruction in academic writing and reading skills to students in an online setting. Curriculum and lesson notes are/will be prepared. Your job is to manage the classroom and teach students.

Duties include:

• Teaching 1 on 1 private tutoring classes
• Teaching group classes
• Grading (Homework, Quizzes)
• Daily/Weekly/Monthly Written Reports

Qualifications
These are high-achieving students with parents who are also high achievers with pedigree. Parents also expect the teachers of their children to also be high performers.

Ideal candidates:

• Proficiency in academic writing and reading instruction
• Experience working with students in an online learning environment (Upper elementary, middle school)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their writing and reading skills
• Knowledge of educational technologies and online teaching tools (Google Suite)
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
• A background in education, English, or related field

Looking for applicants who can take approximately 10 class hours a week.
Pay $30 to $35USD depending on experience and qualifications
